Watching Table Mountain from Constantia is very special. Vinyards spreading out in front of you, adding fantastic greens to the ever blue sky building a perfect scenery of complementary colors.

Brandvlei Nature Reserve

Cruising the roads of South Africa often feels like being in California. Similar colors and landscapes accompany your trip. This country is truly cinematic.

R326 – Rooidriffie

After being run over by a thunderstorm with extensive amounts of rain, the sun came back and we were offered this fantastic view across the countryside. Grains looked even more golden and the clouds above the mountains drifted in majestic slowness.

Colors and lights are hard to grasp even with today's equipment. Often times you just stop and watch the scenery.

Kudu (antilope) – Addo Elephant Park

Close to Port Elizabeth, Addo Elephant Park offers pure wildlife experience. Unlike the many game reserves – privately held nature reserves with a strong focus on tourist attractions – Addo thrives by enabling animals to live freely without major human intervention. This means you might not see as many animals or get as close as you could in the game reserves with their domesticated animals. On the other hand, you support preservation of nature and are able to watch "the real thing". During one of our game drives, the ranger showed a couple of cheetahs to us. Those have escaped from a nearby game reserve and come over to enjoy a better life in freedom.

Sunset – Wilderness Beach

Sunshine and beach life – that's Wilderness! Endless beaches, lined up with the most beautiful beach houses makes you wanna stay – probably for a lifetime. A great pick to stay is the Beach Villa, run by a couple who wanted to escape hectic business life and invite their guests to do so, too.
